What does it cost to work with LINC?
Thank you to the generosity of our donors LINC is able to offer local leaders the highest quality leadership resources at minimal (if any) cost. It doesn't cost the leader anything to work with a coach or go through a strategy session. Most of our trainings and resources are offered completely free. Occasionally there are exceptions. Though, even in those cases, we work hard to minimize the financial impact on the leader as much as possible.
If I work with LINC, do I have to separate from other networks I am a part of?
Most of our LINC leaders are connected to multiple networks. We believe in the power of Kingdom collaboration. In fact, we often help leaders to make new network connections and denominational affiliations as we assist in building their personal networks.
Does LINC have a denominational affiliation?
LINC was born out of the LCMS. That is the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. As such we are what is called an RSO of that synod and many of our team members are rostered LCMS pastors. Though LINC has strong ties with the LCMS denomination we are an independent non-profit. We develop leaders from multiple backgrounds and count many denominational leaders as our friends and partners.
What does LINC stand for?
LINC used to be an acronym. However since even those of us most familiar with the organization had trouble remembering what it stood for we decided to retire the acronym. So, LINC just means LINC. 🙂
Where does LINC's funding come from?
Currently we are almost exclusively funded through the generosity of donors. A large portion of our funding comes from individual donors who see the incredible impact local leaders make in our community. Churches, local denominational districts and grants also play a significant role in funding LINC's mission. We are thankful for everyone who partners with us in this great work.
